Hello guys, today is my first story which I am going to present in English, I hope you like it

Vampires have always fascinated and terrified us, their presence lurking in the shadows of midnight. This story explores the eerie world of these creatures of the night, blending suspense, horror, and a touch of the supernatural. Dive into "The Shadows of Midnight," a chilling vampire tale.
Story:
It was a moonless night when Sarah first encountered the creatures. The town of Blackwood had always been quiet, but there was something unsettling in the air that evening. The usual hum of life had died down, replaced by an eerie silence that sent shivers down her spine.
"Do you hear that?" Sarah whispered to her friend, Jack, as they walked down the deserted street.
Hear what?" Jack replied, his voice barely audible.
"Exactly," Sarah said, her eyes scanning the shadows. "It's too quiet."
The town had a dark history, tales of vampires and other supernatural beings that emerged after dark. Most dismissed them as legends, but Sarah had always believed there was some truth to the stories.
As they turned the corner, the old Blackwood Manor loomed before them. Once a grand estate, it was now a dilapidated shell, its windows shattered, and the doors hanging off their hinges.
"We shouldn't be here," Jack muttered, his fear evident.
Sarah, however, was drawn to the manor. Something about it called to her, a whisper from the past.
Just a quick look," she insisted, pushing open the creaking gate.
The air grew colder as they approached the entrance. Inside, the house was a maze of shadows, the air thick with the scent of decay. They moved cautiously, their footsteps echoing through the empty halls.
"Did you hear that?" Jack asked, stopping suddenly.
Sarah nodded, her heart pounding. A faint rustling sound was coming from the basement.
"Let's check it out," she said, trying to sound braver than she felt.
They descended the narrow staircase, the darkness enveloping them. The basement was cold, damp, and filled with old furniture covered in white sheets. As they moved further in, the rustling grew louder.
Suddenly, a figure emerged from the shadows. A tall man with pale skin and piercing red eyes.
"Welcome to my home," he said, his voice smooth and menacing.
Sarah's heart raced. She recognized the description from the old legends. This was no ordinary man.
Who are you?" she demanded, trying to keep her voice steady.
The man smiled, revealing sharp, pointed teeth.
"I am Count Draven, the last of the Blackwood vampires," he said, stepping closer. "And you, my dear, are trespassing."
Jack tried to pull Sarah away, but Count Draven moved with inhuman speed, blocking their path.
"Stay a while," he hissed. "It's been so long since I've had visitors."
Sarah's mind raced. She had read about vampires, their strengths, and weaknesses. She needed to think fast.
"What do you want from us?" she asked, buying time.
Count Draven tilted his head, studying her.
"Company, for now," he said. "But soon, I will need something more... substantial."
Sarah's blood ran cold. She knew what he meant.
"There's no escape," Draven continued. "But perhaps, we can make a deal."
"What kind of deal?" Sarah asked, her voice trembling.
Draven's eyes gleamed.
"Your life for his," he said, pointing at Jack.
"No!" Sarah and Jack exclaimed in unison.
"Very well," Draven said, shrugging. "Then you both shall stay with me forever."
Sarah remembered the stories about vampires being weakened by sunlight.
"What if we could help you?" she asked, desperation creeping into her voice.
Draven raised an eyebrow.
Help me? How?"
"There's a legend," Sarah said quickly, "about a way to break the vampire curse. If we find it, you can live a normal life."
Draven seemed intrigued.
"And why would you do this for me?" he asked.
"Because it's our only chance to survive," Sarah replied honestly.
Draven considered this for a moment before nodding.
"Very well. You have until the next full moon to find this cure. If you fail, your lives are mine."
With that, he vanished into the shadows.
Sarah and Jack wasted no time. They spent the next few weeks researching, digging through old books and talking to the town's elders. They discovered that the cure lay in a hidden temple deep within the Blackwood forest.
On the night of the full moon, they made their way to the temple. The forest was alive with eerie sounds, the shadows dancing in the moonlight.
"We're almost there," Sarah whispered, her heart pounding.
As they approached the temple, they could feel a dark presence surrounding them. Inside, the air was thick with ancient magic. In the center of the temple was an altar, and on it, a chalice filled with a glowing liquid.
"This must be it," Jack said, reaching for the chalice.
Suddenly, a figure emerged from the darkness. Count Draven.
"Did you really think it would be that easy?" he snarled.
Sarah stepped forward, holding a small vial of holy water.
"Stay back!" she warned.
Draven laughed, a cold, chilling sound.
"Your tricks won't work on me," he said, advancing.
In a desperate move, Sarah threw the vial at Draven. The holy water splashed across his face, burning his skin.
You will pay for this!" he roared, lunging at them.
Jack grabbed the chalice and threw it at Draven. The liquid inside splashed over him, and he screamed in agony.
The ground shook, the temple walls crumbling around them. Draven's body convulsed as the curse was broken, his form disintegrating into dust.
Sarah and Jack ran from the temple as it collapsed, the forest returning to its eerie silence.
"We did it," Jack said, breathing heavily.
Sarah nodded, her eyes scanning the darkness. The threat of Count Draven was gone, but the shadows of midnight would always hold their secrets.
Conclusion:
The legend of Count Draven and the Blackwood vampires was a tale of terror and bravery. As Sarah and Jack learned, sometimes, the only way to defeat the darkness is to face it head-on. For those who dare to explore the shadows of midnight, be warned: you may not always return.
